Our Story
Toowoombells first came together during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for musicians to safely perform while maintaining social distancing. Originally intended only as a temporary ensemble, a number of members decided to establish Toowoombells as a permanent handbell choir, continuing to learn and practice handbell ringing techniques. It remains the only handbell choir in the region and we aim to share the magic of handbell music to all who attend our performances, whether at intimate gatherings or large community events.
